Apply Ayurveda to your life – €85 per session: Learn how to apply ancient knowledge into YOUR modern, daily life. During three 60 minute sessions you will receive personal, lifelong advice (that you will also receive in print). A test will be given before the appointments to determine your constitution (Prakriti). The advice and recommended practices will be based on these results. You receive a comprehensive description about your personal mind body type and practical advice on lifestyle, food, diet and improving digestion to get and stay physically, mentally and emotionally balanced, vital, away from disease. A perfect way into understanding (how to care for) yourself and your needs. Understanding the elements, your main elements and start using food as medicine.
Three full sessions will be planned in about three months of time, with a different subject per session. Since Ayurveda is incredibly extensive, we start small to keep it manageable. So that you can apply and fully integrate the knowledge step by step. A personalized meditation, pranayama or mantra can also be discussed – let me know if you have a preference in this!
The sessions will enable you to meet and recognize your personal needs to live a healthier, more harmonious and longer life. It will give you empowerment over your own health, with a deeper understanding in yourself. A gift and investment in yourself, for life!

AYURVEDA is not a fast, short term fix. It is applying the work and you need to be willing to make changes. During the sessions you will receive the tools to work with, the direction to go and support to fall back on. I will guide you in your self-treatment in which you will implement therapies like right diet, exercise and lifestyle. And it doesn’t need to be perfect! Just starting (small) usually gives great success, changing little things can have mayor effects.
In Ayurveda (one of the oldest systems of natural medicine originating from India) it is assumed that people and everything around us are made up of 5 elements. Earth, water, fire, air and ether. However, the distribution of the elements is different for everyone and this makes you unique. As soon as you know what your dominant element is (or elements are), this gives you knowledge about where you tend to get out of balance. Where your pitfalls and disease tendencies lie. These insights can change your entire view of yourself and everything around you!
After this basic knowledge about your own constitution in the first session, we can delve into nutrition and lifestyle. You will understand which foods and specific types are good and less good for you. For example, spicy food is not beneficial for somebody with a dominant fire element! And this is very good for someone who has little fire in them. The same applies to ‘heating’ sports such as Vinyasa yoga or aerobics. You learn a different way of thinking.
Health is our own responsibility and Ayurveda is giving us tools to take care of our own health.
